Fig Drop Cookies


Dropped Fig Cookies
1 egg
½ cup sugar
½ cup figs, cut fine with scissors
½ cup broken walnut or pecan pieces
¹⁄3 cup flour
¹⁄3 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat the egg until light in color.
Add the sugar and beat until well combined.
Add the figs and nuts and stir to combine.
Sift together the dry ingredients and add to the egg mixture.
Drop teaspoonsful onto a lightly greased cookie sheet or silpat.
Bake for 7 minutes.
